SAN CRISTOBAL RAYON HUIPIL

This is a one-of-a-kind Handsewn rayon huipil from San Cristóbal de las Casas, the cultural heart of the Chiapas highlands. Lightweight, beautifully embroidered, and perfect for everyday wear, this garment brings traditional Tzotzil Mayan design into modern life.

The garment has Spirituality embroidered into it by elder Tzotzil Mayan women — each stitch a living expression of Mayan cultural heritage. Taking several days to make as the stitching is on front with vibrant colors & often times complex designs.
